Sydney Botanical Gardens

The Royal Botanic garden is your place of calm in an energetic city. Dating back to 1816, this vast complex of flora and fauna shelters a selection of vibrant gardens, some even full of unusual plants. Visit the Australian Rainforest garden to look at some of the world’s most primitive flowering plants. The Rockery is the place to meet birds, attracted to nectar rich plants and many hued Australian wildflowers. The list goes on. But for all practical purposes, you can either go for a guided tour to learn about the extensive collection of gardens or lose yourself in the subliminal beauty of it all. Just make sure that you head back towards the nearest exit before they wrap up business for the day.
