Tucked between Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and the beautiful Northern Beaches, Pittwater is a charming body of water which was first discovered by Captain Cook on the 22nd August in 1770. If you are craving some time away from land-dwelling during your discovery visit of Sydney, why not go sailing, kayaking or even boating along Pittwater. You’ll find a number of companies who you can rent kayaks and stand up paddleboards from in the area although if you’re not confident or experienced on the water we would recommend you book a tour.
