Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park

Water vistas, bushland, and sandstone make up the beautiful landscape of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Follow in the footsteps of the great adventurer Captain Cook and explore the history of Aboriginal life through preserved rock art and culture. Some of the park areas provide vantage points to gaze at panoramas over Broken Bay, Pittwater and Cowan Creek. If you love getting close to nature, pack a picnic, hire a bicycle, hire a kayak or book a day tour. If you’re keen on trying out fishing you’ll find some great fishing points and ample bushwalking trails where you can discover Sydney’s wilderness and wildlife up-close. Just remember to keep your eyes peeled for snakes and other critters. This is Australia after all!

Fact – Ku-ring-gai takes its name from original owners, theKuringgai Aboriginal peoples.
