Darling Harbour

If you are looking for a good time, you can have it in Darling Harbour. Go for an exhilarating jet boat ride or set your inner child free at the water park with interactive fountains. Go for a stroll to admire the fizzing fountains and the city’s skyscrapers or shop. The area is packed with theatres, an aquarium, museums, various entertainment venues and then there is the famous Madame Tussaud’s. When dusk falls, change gear to dine at restaurants and frequent cafés by the water. Darling Harbour is perhaps one of the best places in Sydney to catch the sight of the cityscape at night all aglow and lively.

Fact – The area was officially called the Long Cove until Governor, Lieutenant-General Ralph Darling named it after himself
